Summer Programs at the Boulder Museum...

BMoCA (2)

The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art is offering a range of summer camps designed to celebrate the inner artist in everyone. In partnership with Tinker Art Studio, these camps are available in both morning and afternoon sessions, accommodating various schedules, skill levels, preferences, and ages (kindergarten through 11th grade).

Each half-day camp, which lasts a week, runs from Monday to Thursday and includes the following sessions:

  • Puppy Camp (AM) and Rocks & Crystals (PM): June 9th to 12th
  • Glow in the Dark (AM) and Swifties (PM): June 16th to 19th
  • Rainbows & Unicorns (AM) and Glow in the Dark (PM): June 23rd to 26th
  • Rocks & Crystals (AM) and Puppy Camp (PM): July 7th to 10th
  • Swifties (AM) and Rainbows & Unicorns (PM): July 14th to 17th
  • Glow in the Dark (AM) and Rocks & Crystals (PM): July 21st to 24th
  • Puppy Camp (AM) and Swifties (PM): July 28th to 31st
  • Flipbooks (AM) and Acrylics & Watercolors (PM): August 4th to 7th

BMoCA camps are held in the studio above the museum, allowing children to explore their talents right in the midst of inspiring contemporary art, colorful creations, and whimsical displays. Each session includes a museum tour, and each day features a snack and outdoor break time on the grassy lawn in front of the building. Children can enroll in one session per day or participate in both morning and afternoon sessions.

Classes are designed to be small, featuring a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 6-to-1, which means sessions fill up quickly. Reserve your child’s spot today by registering here.

BMoCA has been a changemaker in Boulder’s art scene since its founding in 1972. Now celebrating its 53rd anniversary, it continues to strive to be a leader in contemporary art and culture, bringing innovation, diverse perspectives, and imagination to the Flatirons and beyond.

Whether your child is a seasoned sculptor, an accomplished stick drawer, or a mini Monet, the BMoCA celebrates artists of all skills and mediums. Sign up today to empower your kiddo’s creativity and give them the opportunity to swap the video games this summer for something exciting new.
